First Loss

Tough loss last night to a good Macedonia team in front of a VERY loud, cheering, whistling (booing), singing crowd of 9,000. The atmosphere in the arena was electric even an hour before the game. Most of the crowd wearing team (red) color and waving their country flag. Macedonia was on top of their game from the beginning and we could not get on track, struggling to score for most of the game. Couple that with 25 turnovers and we hand our hands full all game. Ending with a very tough to take 75-56 loss.

We will have to put this loss behind us and move on quickly as we have a very busy week ahead of us. We travel back to England today and play Bosnia Thursday then go back on the road to end group play in the Ukraine over the weekend. If we win one of the last two games we will qualify for play next summer.
